Mitchell was born in Columbus, IN, and grew up moving all around the country, even spending time living in Germany. He’s spent the last 8 years in Charleston, having moved from Michigan to pursue a career opportunity in the Lowcountry. He hasn’t looked back, mostly because it’s very cold in Michigan half of the year. Prior to coming to Tabor Mortgage Group, Mitchell was Chief Sales Officer of Platform Marketing, a national marketing agency and, further back, was VP of Business Development for a local marketing agency, Advantage Media Group/Forbes Books.

Mitchell lives with his two dogs, a corgi and a mini-Aussie, and his spouse, a human, along the marsh of the Wando River. He’s a substantial nerd who likes to read, watch educational programming, and talk about economics to anyone who will listen. When he’s not being a nerd, though, Mitchell is a professional grade drummer, which is a great conduit for channeling the rage that comes from being someone who can’t help but talk about economics.
